Corina Gitmed – started this journey as the owner of a small, local Farmers Market business called OFF THE HOOK, is based out of Hollister, California and made ocean conservation her business' main goal. Corina formed a partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program and local fishermen to sell fresh, sustainable, locally caught fish fillets ready to be taken home and prepared any way that you'd like. She also offers recommendations on how to season, prepare and properly cook each type of fish, which lead to her interest in OFF the HOOK Essentials; pure and potent, Essential Oil-Infused Finishing Salts. Being able to provide customers with information on the local catch they are consuming and teaching great tips on how to prepare their fillets is something OFF THE HOOK takes great pride in. Meeting new people that are interested in how they can do their part by supporting Eco-friendly fishing and being a conscious consumer is a side-benefit she thoroughly enjoys!
